I tend to work seasonally.

During the winter months I find myself working on panels and drawings or ‘stills’ within a structural and bare landscape. The palette is more neutral and there is a concentration on vertical and horizontal elements pulling and rooting me to a place.

In the long days during the summer months when the studio is filled with natural light, I find myself working on colored panels as well as observation drawings and shadow studies outdoors.

For this reason many series are ongoing and each year there might be new work added to most of the series sections.
